3 components consist of a compact main unit, a central unit (PC, communication equipment), and a tether reel unit(cable). The cable can be removed for ease of mobility. The package can be sent via courier services.

The communication between the ROV and the central unit is tethered via a 3.7mm optical cable (As shown on the right). The slim diameter of the cable reduces the drag effect to the minimum hence improving the ROV mobility and stability underwater.

Piloting training in 2-3 hours

Intuitive piloting via the control pad is easy to learn and get familiarize in 2-3 hours. Video data can be extracted onto a USB memory card etc.

A full battery capacity has the ability to operate for up to 4 hours. By swapping the battery, longer operations are also possible.

Station keeping function provides accurate positioning

DiveUnit300 uses AHRS (Altitude and Heading Reference System) and 7 thrusters to automatically stabilize the drone’s pitch and roll. By measuring its relative position to the ground in milimetres, the drone is capable of holding its position against currents and tides to provide a smoother operation.

The angle of the DiveUnit300 can be adjusted to improve the efficiency of underwater inspection work. The camera viewing range, multibeam sonar scanning range and the LED light beam angle can be adjusted to ensure quality video and underwater photography. For example, hull inspection of a ship can be done efficiently with this function.

USBL Acoustic Positioning System

With the integration of highly sensitive USBL acoustic positioning devices, the acoustic pulse between the transceiver and the transponder enables accurate positioning coordinates. This allows the ROV to be tasked for more advanced operations. A wide range of other applications such as subsea assets tracking, subsea structures placements, IMR (Inspection, Maintenance and Repair) work.
